Garden Tea Party 2018

It's time for the Garden Tea Party! This event is meant to celebrate summer and its hosted by the garden talents every year. It lasted in Pixie Hollow from 2009 until 2013.

The 2009 event was actually in July. There was a preparation quest from Rosetta, and Sunflower Gully and Dewdrop Vale had silver tea sets. Starting in 2010, the event occurs in the spring right before summer.

2010's party was similar to 2009, except that the minister of summer came and there was currant punch (the minister's favorite drink). Palm Tree Cove was decorated that year too, and the tea tables were interactive like the Tearoom tables.

The event changed in 2011. There were three Rosetta quests during the event, each gave a hat which is used in the decorated meadows along with an emote to earn the event badges. Starting that year, the Summer Glade and Tearoom were decorated.

Starting in 2012, the hats were purchased at Cassie's and there was the awesome kitchen in the theatre.

2013's party was my favorite because it was Wonderland themed. There were Wonderland inspired outfits in the shops, a white rabbit Fawn quest with a heart scepter reward, and a hilarious Eat Me cake and Drink Me bottle which makes your fairy grow and shrink.

Here were the ballroom gifts given each year:
2010-Never Gold Butterfly Teapot
2012-Baker's dozen of Fairy Cupcake silly sweets
2013-Eat me and drink me stuff

In 2009, Tink and Rosetta visited and gave out a Never Silver teacup.

Starting in 2011 when the hats were added, optional outfits that go with the hats were available in the shops. And guess what; they're in FairyABC! The outfits are from Gale's Outfitters.

Here are some ideas on how to celebrate in Pixie Hollow:
  • Chill in the Tearoom (I forgot to check, but last time I checked, some of the meadows like Sunflower Gully had tea tables)
  • Put on one of the outfits listed above, or any flower inspired tea party outfit (or anything related to summer)
Here are ideas for the mainland:

  • Decorate your house (or garden) with flowery decorations (I created tissue paper ceiling flowers for spring and I'm keeping them up for the party)
  • Make snacks that relate to summer or the garden in some way (like cupcakes with flowers on them!) Or the snacks can be wonderland inspired
  • Make tea, iced tea (iced tea is better for summer actually), or any summer drink
  • Start dressing your best for summer when you go out or enjoy the previously mentioned snacks as it's a fancy garden talent event, now that cold weather season is over, I feel like I'm a bit more into fashion (for example, I wear a lot more dresses and accessories)
Oh, and here's a nice tea party dress available in Summit Style which I actually wore during my short appearance at the Flower Moon Ball.  It's the Pansy Collection. It's not my most original party dress, but I love it too much!.

And here's a badge for enjoying some tea and treats!
