2018 Fairy Friendship Festival

It's that time of year; the Fairy Friendship Festival; the event all about friendship!

The Fairy Friendship Festival began in 2009. Every year some of the meadows were decorated with beautiful heart canopy flowers which are some of my personal favorite event decorations. Starting in 2011, there was an item in the ballroom in which you'd put on and go to a heart canopy meadow. You and other fairies with the same accessory would have to use the heart emote at the same time to get a badge. The 2011 badge was the first cooperative badge in the game.

In 2011, there was a friendship gift station in Havendish Square where you can send one gift a day to your fairy friends as well as a snowball fight in the ballroom. The festival also had the first visits of many famous fairies. Most of the quests in this event were about making friendship gifts with the 2010 one being about making friends with Vidia by giving her gifts. All the quests were Tinkerbell quests except for 2010 where it was a Rosetta quest.

Quest rewards:
2009-Watermelon pink hanging heart lanterns
2010-Friendship Festival badge
2011-Friends Forever badge
2012-Dreamcatcher badge (one of my personal favorites)
2013-Periwinkle blue frozen periwinkle flower

Ballroom gifts:
2010-Fig purple prickly pear plant
2011-Thundercloud grey heart glasses
2012-Bunnynose pink heart bobblehead
2013-Thistle pink heart accessory set

Famous fairy visits:
2009-Tink, Rosetta (first visit), Fawn (first visit), Silvermist and Tabby
2010-Rosetta and Vidia (first visit)
2011-Tink and Terrance (first visit)
2012-Tink, Terrance and (if lucky) Vidia
2013-Tink and Periwinkle (they were wearing the heart accessories)

Now, for this year's festival, here are some outfits. The one below is from the original Pixie Hollow.

Any pink and flowery outfit would be great for the festival. This outfit below was actually introduced in 2010.

Last year, I saw a heart bobblehead accessory, but I can't find it, but here's an outfit I made with it last year.

Here are two outfits I love because they're so simple, and I made them in two different colors.

And here's another outfit I created last year.

Now for decorations! I made heart art and framed them. One of them had nine different hearts in different types of scrapbook paper, and the other one (my favorite) was a rainbow heart. I cut a large house out of pink glitter pinker, a slightly smaller one in orange and then yellow, and then up until purple. I layered them and glued the heart to the white background. I love how the heart kind of has dimension.

Another craft I love is hearts on strings. They're basically small hearts in different colors thread on a string.

Well, that's it. My next post will be on March 5th. In the meantime, enjoy the festival and this badge. Feel free to do something nice for a friend!
