Spring Equinox 2018

Tomorrow is officially the Spring Equinox! Light fairies will melt the snow, animal fairies will wake up the sleeping animals, garden fairies will plant flowers, and water fairies will bring in the April showers. And, the day and night tomorrow will officially be 12 hours each (which means the daylight will be more than 12 hours from now on!).

In most years in Pixie Hollow, there was a golden clover hunt. The idea originated during a storm when Iridessa wanted to rebuild the Spring Celebration when Rosetta was too busy. She decided to create magical rainbows and hide golden clovers instead of the one hidden clover from 2009. Here's the recipe:

  1. You need a snow white clay pot to mix the ingredients in
  2. Add something lucky (like a lucky penny)
  3. Add something golden for the golden clovers (like honeycombs)
  4. Add ten green clovers
  5. Stir with a twig that has four perfect prongs 
The Everblossom was also in the ballroom in 2011 and 2013. It's the flower in Springtime Square that blooms when it's time for spring to arrive. Speaking of ballroom, here are the gifts:

Snowflake's Postings-November 2019

  The holiday season has begun with November! Events Week 1-The Pixie Hollow Games -Inspired by the mainland Olympics, the Pixie Hollow Games is held every four years. Each year, two members from each talent (not all participate every year) represent their guild in a series of events. The last place team after each event is eliminated. The overall standings are determined by a butterfly leaderboard.  Here are some of the sports: Leapfrogging-Fairies race on frogs that leap over each other Dragonfly water skiing-The team that makes it the fastest around a series of obstacles in the water wins Twig Spheres-One teammate is on top of the sphere moving it while the other is inside guiding the one on top. Teams race to make it to the middle and back first. Mouse polo-It's basically like mainland lacrosse but on mice. Two teams compete at a time and the judging is tournament style. Teacup Challenge-It's a high speed race inside clumsy teacups
