2018 Nature Days
Because it's spring, it's time to acknowledge that we need to take good care of our environment for the sake of all forms of life. That's why Earth Day exists. The Pixie Hollow equivalent is Nature Days which is usually held at around Earth Day. There's usually Kit quests about taking care of the environment. But in 2010, there was also a Tinkerbell quest and a beach cleanup in Palm Tree Cove.
Here are some tips to play your part in taking care of the environment:
As for the activity; I like to spend weekend nights without lights. What I like to do is use a candlelight jar; which is a jar I put simple heart and star stickers on, spray painted, removed the stickers and put a fake candle in. I think it looks really pretty. You can also use battery powered lights.

Here are some tips to play your part in taking care of the environment:
- See if you can participate in a beach cleanup, or you can simply clean the beach by yourself. Even if it's not on the beach, pick up any trash you see\
- Reuse trash if you can. It could save money too
- If a location is close enough, walk or ride a bike. It's also a fun way to get exercise and go outside, and you're making the air cleaner at the same time
- Plant a seed in an empty milk or juice carton. You won't just be growing something, you'll be reusing the cartons
- Plant your own indoor or outdoor garden. It would be fun to start a gardening journal too.
- Only turn on the faucet when necessary and try to take showers instead of baths because showers save water
- Turn off electronics when you're not using them (I have an activity idea after this list)
- Try to switch to a florescent lightbulb; they save energy

Here are some other nature related activities (from Kit quests):
- Make up a new animal and draw a picture of it
- Learn about endangered species and why they're endangered. Write what you learned in a journal and maybe you'll find a way to help save those animals
- Draw a nature themed picture
