This week, we're celebrating a Pixie Hollow tradition; the Summer Splash Party!

The Summer Splash Party began in 2009. There was a Silvermist preparation quest. This year, the party was supposed to be based off of a luau picture from the mainland. Iridessa and Silvermist even gave out leis that year.

Silvermist visited the party every year. There was a quest about choosing the lucky fish in 2010 and 2011. The lucky fish was a Summer Splash tradition. He could be found in one of the water areas in Pixie Hollow such as the ballroom pool, Sunflower Gully, Havendish Square and Dewdrop Vale. If you find him, you'd get a badge.

Here are the summer splash quest rewards:
2009-Seashore Brown Long Grass Skirt
2010-Summer Splash badge
2011-Coral Pink Happy Fish Habitat

You can find splash party and pool party outfits on FairyABC. One of my favorites is the rubber ducky tube found in the Fairy Circle shop.

And because the Summer Splash Party celebrates water talents, here's a story about Troop Otter. This was from 2012.

Oscar and Olivia otter were playing a game otters love.
They floated in the water, pushing off each others' paws.
"Tag you're it!" they laughed back and forth.
Then suddenly, Olivia couldn't see Oscar anywhere!
She called his name and swam all over trying to find him.
She checked behind rocks and looked on the beach.
She looked everywhere, but Oscar was out of reach!
Olivia saw a pair of eyes in some tangled seaweed.
She swam over to see that it was Oscar indeed!
When Oscar saw Olivia, he knew he was in luck,
She was able to free Oscar from where he was stuck.
After that, they floated together, paw-in-paw.
Now, otters can be seen holding paws while they float!
That's why the Otter Troop has the most loyal friends,
They always have a helping paw to lend!

And here's a badge for celebrating!
