2018 Fairy Friendship Festival

Image
It's that time of year; the Fairy Friendship Festival; the event all about friendship! The Fairy Friendship Festival began in 2009. Every year some of the meadows were decorated with beautiful heart canopy flowers which are some of my personal favorite event decorations. Starting in 2011, there was an item in the ballroom in which you'd put on and go to a heart canopy meadow. You and other fairies with the same accessory would have to use the heart emote at the same time to get a badge. The 2011 badge was the first cooperative badge in the game. In 2011, there was a friendship gift station in Havendish Square where you can send one gift a day to your fairy friends as well as a snowball fight in the ballroom. The festival also had the first visits of many famous fairies. Most of the quests in this event were about making friendship gifts with the 2010 one being about making friends with Vidia by giving her gifts. All the quests were Tinkerbell quests except for 2010 where it...

Sweet Week 2018

Image
It's February, and it has been a tradition that the week before the Fairy Friendship Festival is Sweet Week. Chef outfits and sweet inspired decorations have been sold in this event. There was a tradition that if you place a certain piece of furniture in your home, you'd get a reward. There was even a bake off raffle in 2013 which was the first one in a while. Sweet Week Rewards: 2009: Cookie jar-Heart apron 2010: Cookie jar-Mushroom White heart apron 2011: Cookie tray-Whisk belt 2012: Cookie tray-Heart trail silly sweet 2013: Cookie tray-Heart trail silly sweet A fun activity for Sweet Week is to try baking. I'm not sure I'll have time this week, but I'd love to do some baking this year. Because the Friendship Festival is coming up, here's some room decor ideas: Heart Mason Jars: Use mod podge to wrap tissue paper around a mason jar. Next, cut a heart out of a different color of tissue paper and attach that to the jar. You can put fake flowers in ...

Art Month 2018 Post #2

Image
Heyyyyy! Hope you all are enjoying Art Month so far! Art month began in 2010 and it featured artistic outfits and decorations. There was even an art themed home decoration contest. There was a home contest (the first one in fact) in January 2009, but this month wasn't known as Art Month yet. Since then, every January was art themed with artistic outfits and decorations and a freestyle home decoration contest. Many years added new hairstyles with 2012 adding the highlight feature. In 2010 and 2013, the ballroom was open with a special gift. My last post included some activities you can do this month. As for art month outfits, I was originally going to post some, but because it's Art Month, there's no rules for outfits really! You can add a bunch of crazy colors to your outfit, or make your outfit a unifying theme. What I'm doing is dying the same outfit a few different colors. There are basically too many dye colors in Pixie Hollow! I only did two because I'm bus...

Art Month 2018

Happy New Year everyone! I need to start getting used to writing 2018 on everything instead of 2017. January is honestly my least favorite month because I find it to be the longest and very cold. Also, the holidays are over and we have to wait forever for them to come back. :( But, this year I'm fixing this problem by giving a different creative activity for each day. 1/1 -Because I know you're all hungover from the new year festivities, lets start with something simple; think of something that made you smile in 2017. 1/2 -Fly around Pixie Hollow, but this time, look at the little artistic details in the meadows you usually take for granted 1/3 -Design your dream Pixie Hollow home. You can create a picture of it or just think about what you want it to be. Think of the colors and furniture you want in it. 1/4 -Take a screenshot on FairyABC, but this time, make it an artistic one 1/5 -Design an outfit, but don't just dress your fairy up. Actually create a unique...

Happy New Year 2018!

Image
I can't believe it's almost 2018! Time flies by so fast! 2017 was a great year from starting my blog to making videos to doing tons of amazing things on the mainland. There wasn't really a new year's event in Pixie Hollow, but there should be because in my opinion, seeing holiday decorations after Christmas feels like Pixie Hollow is hungover by all the holiday festivities. When Christmas is over, I'm done with that and ready for the new year (but this year is different because I still haven't given one friend her gift yet). So, here are a few fun things to do during the last week of the year: Check your yearly horoscope Make a slideshow of all the fun moments from the year (I've actually been working on one for the entire year). You can watch it on New Year's Eve. I record all my dreams in a dream journal so I read the dreams from the year and record my favorites Recap the year and see how it compares to others One thing I like to make is a ca...

2017 Winter Wonderland Party!

Image
The time is here; winter officially hits the mainland on December 21st! Every year in Pixie Hollow to celebrate, there's the Winter Wonderland party. The first one was back in December 2008, and the tradition continued every year since. Starting in 2010, the ice palace (AKA Winterhall) opens during the event, and you'll need to complete a quest and earn a key badge in order to enter. The ice palace was filled with ice sculpture presents for your home as well as a piano. You could also throw snowballs in the ballroom. In 2009, there were 12 short famous fairy quests which each involve one task. At the end of each quest, you'd earn an ornament based on a certain line of the 12 Days of Christmas song. There was even a tree with those ornaments in Cottonpuff Field. So, here are some wintery outfits that were from the original Hollow! The pictures were from last year and this year.  Summit Style Gale's Outfitters and Summit Style  Summit Style  Summit ...

2017 Great Winter Light Up

Image
It's that time of year again; time to light up the Winter Woods! And that of course means decorating! Here are some decoration ideas. This is my personal favorite; it's a winter picture frame. It's very easy to make; you just frame a wintry picture. I decided to decorate the frame with paint, glitter and stickers. I chose the decorated Snowcap Glade because the Winter Wonderland Party honestly had some of the prettiest decorations and Snowcap Glade is my favorite winter meadow. Countdown Board This is also very easy. I put wintry scrapbooking paper in a frame and used a dry erase marker to count down until Christmas. Snowflake Strings For this craft, you'll be making the paper snowflakes you made in elementary school. I made them out of computer paper and pretty scrapbooking paper. Thread them through a string and tape them into place. You can also make similar strings using ornaments (made of templates and scrapbooking paper). Other Just add anything wh...
